Knowledge Is Power

Working on improving my digital art skills I have created this Knowledge Is Power illustration.  Using the words knowledge is power was inspired by a picturebooking podcast I recently heard.  I am hoping to create a series of knowledge is power drawings and paintings.

I have also created a new portfolio website.  Please feel free to check it out!

Knowledge is Power

Created this knowledge is power piece on Corel paint 12 with a Wacom tablet.

I was inspired by a pod cast I was listening too. I am always trying to gain more knowledge.

Goblin Toon

It’s been a while since I have posted anything so I will post this goblin character I just finished up on Corel Painter 12, with a Wacom Intuos4 tablet. This is the first all digital drawing I am proud of.  Still needs some work but I think its good enough for now to post 🙂

Digital Coloring

Hello internet amigos.  Here I have a previous Inktober drawing, of Roger, I did when I combined the shattered and teeming prompts.  On the left I have my brush and ink drawing done on my sketchbook.  On the right I have a digitally colored version of the same drawing.  I used my Wacom Intuos tablet and Photoshop to color it.  I am satisfied with the outcome, although I definitely need to sharpen up my digital art skills.

Harris Hawk

Hello internet. Well Inktober is almost over and I have failed miserably at keeping up this past week. I also haven’t scanned the last two or three drawing I did. So instead I will post this Harris Hawk ink drawing on mineral paper.   I just recently gave this as a gift to my beautiful girlfriend 🙂

Fight You Demon

Hello amigos, since I am behind on my Inktober drawing and haven’t scanned my latest drawing, I figure I would post an older ink drawing.  This was done last year and I guess i didn’t take the time to erase my pencil lines.  I was experimenting with some foreshortening here, I was also watching Kung-Fu Panda. hehe

Inktober day 14

Here Roger is fiercely shaking his hand at this cut little bird who only wants to be friends.  The shading on the pants is horrible though haha.  I’m really thinking of turning this character into a web comic. Hmmmmm how to start this new adventure??

Theme for Inktober day 14 was fierce.
